To become a real estate broker in Georgia you must have maintained a salesperson's license in active status for at least three of the five years immediately preceding the filing of an application to become a broker. IMPORTANT!! The Georgia broker prelicense course requires a proctored final exam. Final examinations are by appointment only and are held in the morning. Georgia MLS Training Institute students may schedule a final exam by logging into the Student Portal. ALL online course work must be completed and the electronic student affidavit submitted BEFORE a final exam appointment may be scheduled.
Course reviews the fundamentals of real estate from the salespersons prelicense course. Also addresses brokerage management with additional lessons on office operations, broker responsibilities, financial management and government regulations. Proctored Exam Required.
